Crocs Artist

We have seen a number of artists use Crocs as a canvas for their art. Checkout this video of Pim Smit painting Crocs on the street.

I think it’s very cool, (although not really my style). But it’s interesting to know that you can literally create art out of your Crocs & really make them your own. My kids would love this. And if you think about it, you could also use stencils & stamps to paint your Crocs as well as use other mediums like puff paint, metalics, and glitter. (My youngest would LOVE making her Crocs sparkle…she has a thing for glittery shoes ala Wizard of Oz.) And you could also glue on gems, crystals, beads, patches, & sequins as well. Of course, they wouldn’t wear very well on active children, but then after a month or two, you can simply re-decorate or repair the design, which is where all the fun is anyway.

Neat idea! It really helps to start thinking outside the box & get really creative.

Does anyone know the paint that is most durable on the Croc? I am thinking adhesion to the surface and ability to stay there a long time.
Thank you for any suggestions, or experience from those who have painted their crocs.
