Very clever and creative video. Trevor does a great job using humor to make the case for Croc haters. Unlike so much of the ad hominem attacks on Crocs that litter the web, this uses humor to make the point. I suspect that most folks that subscribe to this blog, myself included, don’t agree with Trevor, but see where he is coming from.
Great point, but Imma keep wearin’ em! Though I have gravitated toward some of the more fashion friendly ones like the wedges, and santa cruz model. I do hope that 10-15 yrs from now these are still availible. I do think the fad will die down for those who are just following the fad. However, the shoe itself it wonderful for what its intended. I dont believe the creators ever thought their shoe would be worn to grocery stores and under wedding dresses (yes this happens all the time now!)
But where there are ppl wanting a soft foamy shoe underfoot and too lazy to tie laces, there will be crocs lovers…like me.
I hope they don’t die out that much because I’d really like them to be available. It’s just kind of sad that once they wear out they are almost dangerous to wear. I am planning on donating my old crocs to the soles united program.
A friend of mine just mailed me a pair a few weeks ago for my birthday. I had never given them a second look before - but these are extremely comfortable - more so than the tennis shoes that have been my mainstay for a very very long time. It looks like I’ll have to have a few more pair!
The video was extremely well made - a bit of a spoof huh? They must have had a good time making it though.
What this critic, like most others, fails to point out in the video is that the crocs™ shoes are also anti-microbial and odor resistant. They are a miracle cure for people with back problems and foot problems. The comfort isn’t just for the sake of comfort but it helps people ease the pain of suffering from certain disorders, that’s why some of the crocs™ shoes are honored by the American Podiatric Medical Association, with the highest award possible, the Executive Director’s Award. It seems as though many of the critics fail to do the proper research necessary to make such calls, like the fact that Crocs, Inc. manufactures over 90 different styles of shoe, many of which aren’t bright pink or orange. It’s easy to pick on a company in the beginning stages of development, with a hit product, but at least do them the justice of doing proper research first.

Is this for crocs or against them? I’m not really a dense person but honestly I don’t get it.

I don’t have a website - it asks for one here.
