Here are some of the crocs fakes. Does anyone have any information on the lawsuits filed against all of the fake Crocs makers?

IN FACT CROCS WAS THE 3RD CO TO OFFER THIS STYLE THEY GOT BACKING FROM BANK OF AMERICA, AND NOW PUBLIC STOCKHOLDERS TO BUILD THIS BRAND.

NOTHING MAGIC IN “CROCS” they are using many asian factories now as well. My guess is the top Executives are skimming like crazy now, riding the wave.

Have seen them made in Asia same quality ..some cheap ones too.

Cost $3.00 FOB wake up fools

[…] In an update to a previous post about the announcement of Sponge Bob Crocs and Dora the Explorer Crocs, we have our first Crocs Spoting of the new Sponge Bob Crocs. They are difficult to see, but but there they are in the wild. Update Alert - It has been brought to my attention that these Sponge Bob Crocs are most likely not real Crocs and one of the many fake Crocs out there. We will keep our eye out on this and post any updates on if these are Crocs brand or someone else’s version. […]

I love crocs — but they are sooo expensive here in the uk, almost double what you pay for them. We have to pay about $65.

I got my dad a pair for his birthday, and i’m still waiting for the price to come down.

I have to say it, but if the cheap imitation ones came out in the uk i might get myself a pair.

I just dont get why a company would charge the rest of the world $30 and charge $65 in the UK.

Hi! I totally agree about fakes. They should be stopped! In the uk i spotted fakes in a shop called peacocks and I thought scums! I have the real thing in a light blue shade known as ice and the’re great! I have two rhinstone jibbits to go with them too! threy are only plastic but hey! I have a purple and a green set of the jibbits. I recommened the rhinstones as they don’t look tacky. tnk 4 reading! xxxxxxxx

People who buy in to a design because of the brand name need their heads read. If another company legally offers a similar product of equivalent quality then literally vote with your feet and buy from them!! Given that alternaties to Crocs are being offered in some of the UKs respectable shops, I assume that they are not breaking any retailling laws. I have seen alternatives offered at £8 which is less than a third of the average price for crocs here. I do have proper crocs which i bouhgt before i saw the others and am happy with them but the cult status will allow the company the freedom to continue to over charge.

It’s not a fake. Crocs doesn’t own the design, just the name. If Crocs were made in the USA, I would be loyal, But they exploit the slave labor and contribute to pollution just like the cheap guys do, and then charge us more for it. Buy American!

First of all……Crocs were NOT the first company to make these shoes, other companies have been making them for years & marketing them primarily to Nurses.
Ever since Crocs became so popular there have been alot of look-alike’s poping up all over the place at much cheaper prices….some of them look pretty crappy, but in my experience there are some that are just as comfortable as crocs.
If you look in any nursing uniform catalog or website you can find different brands of clogs similar to crocs that are NOT FAKE Crocs, some are even more expensive than crocs.
There aren’t going to be any lawsuits…..Maybe you should do a little research & get your information straight before you post…………….

The only way there can be a lawsuit is if Crocs patents the different styles. The only thing that is owned and patented is the material that crocs are made of.

I bought the “real crocs” months ago and they hurt like hell. Not only my feet, but my wallet too. I returned them and tried on a smaller size and then a bigger size, but no luck. When i left the shop i wandered through the market and found a stall selling fake crocs/clogs. I bought one in nearly every colour with my refund for the originals and i still had change for a chockie. They are so comfy, that i refuse to wear anything else. Have just bought some more fakes but in the Mary Jane style. Oh my God. Heaven or what.If the clogs you buy are comfy then it doesn’t matter how much they cost. All your paying for is a name brand. Give me the fakies anytime.

I just picked up 3 more pairs at WalMart - $5 a pair!!!! I love them, find them SO comfortable, and have 12 pairs now!

Godsmoon has a picture of Holey soles with the “Vancouver BC” inscription and considers them a “Crocs fake”. The formula to make those type of shoes was produced in Quebec, so the people who created Crocs based themselves in the US and Holey Soles remained in Canada. Crocs has factories in China, Mexico, Canada, Florida, Italy, and Romania; Holey Soles produces theirs in China. Having more capital, a stronger market and advertising power, Crocs purchased the “original” formula and bought the only Canadian factory.

    “stupid imitations”
well the originals are pretty damn stupid too, don’tcha think?

i hate those holey shoes, airwalks, etc. knocks are NO GOOD!! buy the real CROCS….. …. DUH!!

  21. Shoe_nazi - December 9th, 2007 at 6:56 pm

For everyone who says he/she hates crocs shoes imitator. You are nuts. Don’t you know the only reason you’re not paying $100 for a equally-low-cost pair so-called- authentic crocs shoes is that the knockoffs are pulling the price low.

People demands low price knockoffs. The suppliers simply fill the demand. It’ll never go away because you hate them. Get real.

(BTW, I’ll do you a favor and buy a pair knockoff at Walmart).

  22. Say_yes - December 9th, 2007 at 7:02 pm

Agree. It’s insane to buy real crocs shoes. Ridiculously price for a ridiculously stupid shoes. Just because it’s real doesn’t mean it’s fairly priced.

  23. Clengpot - June 25th, 2009 at 9:18 am

I got every single pair of crocs knock offs. from beach, alice, maryjanes, sassari, sta cruz, captiva and wake..

    and it feels so comfy!
