Crocs are a brand of shoes that are light weight, soft, comfortable clog style sandals. Crocs are known for their vivid colors and multi-purspose wear. They are the result of 3 Colorado based men’s idea for the perfect boat shoe. Founded in July 2002 under the company Foam Creations, Inc., Crocs have become more than the originally designed boat shoe.
The first Croc style shoe, the Beach, was introduced at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in November 2002. After the show, the orders started pouring in and Crocs started becoming the next new shoe for comfort and fashion.
Crocs have since expanded the product line with other shoe styles like Cayman, Highland, Metro, and Nile. Future shoes include Georgie, a boot for the rain, and the Athens flip flop. Using the same material that has made the Croc Shoe line so popular, they are expanding the brand into other products like knee pads, sunglasses, and other Crocs branded apparel.
There have been Crocs Spots of famous celebrities wearing Crocs. I have read that Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Burt Reynolds, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw have been seen out and about wearing Crocs. Please ignore ‘Insulted by Croc’’s message. Yes, the shoes are ugly but the are not uncomfortable. My orthopedic-surgeon said to wear these because they are so comfortable and are like walking on air. Yeah they’re ugly and out-there but if they’re comfortable isn’t it worth it? I think so. I have 4 pairs of crocs.
My reply to the issue of ‘what are crocs and are they hot?’ is a bunch of ‘CROC’! Who cares? Celebrities can wear anything they want and usually the general public not only approve, they are quick to just on the bandwagon of popularity. This fad is no different. Remember when Birchenstocks came out….as ugly as these shoes are, the company made a small fortune selling them even though the “Polls” stated otherwise. We should be focusing on more important issues…like who will be ’sneaking’ into the white house with or without Crocs. And if it isn’t our voters’ choice….then, that would be the biggest bunch of CROC of all!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

crocs are one of the most comfortable shoes ever made. People who say otherwise are probably just sour graping cause they can’t afford one.
Funny also why some people would be embarassed by wearing crocs yet their not embarassed to post on the net that their wives tell them what to wear.LOL!!!

so I bought a pair of alice style and i keep going back to the generic wal mar bright orange foam slipper tennis shoe thing. though I’d never wear them out anywhere except for theh pool, the croc shoe can pass for a normal one since it is black, but I’d never wear them to work. My Dr. Scholl’s are really good for that and are made of leather. My feet got sweaty and smelled weird even after I took a shower and I’ve only been wearing thme in the apartment and to the laundry. I can’t wear them to the river because they’ll slip off. Not going to buy another pair of Crocs, I found airwalks (yes, I know it’s owned by crocs) in a nice sneaker and it is incredibly comfy. I don’t like crocs that much. I don’t consider them to be cmofortable, and that’s it.
Crocs are the best, most cofortable shoes ever! If you ever say that they are not comfortable, you are crazy! I like them becaus of many things. The most important thing is that I love the way they are made. THey come in many different colors. They come in many different kinds.
